I never thought about the different memories associated with the different steps but you certainly have me thinking.

I do remember my mom making HUGE meals with deserts and all the trimmings even when it was just our family of 5. Regardless of who was coming over for the holidays, she never did it halfway. I love that about her.

TamiTami Brothershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07893437514048871731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599090653164656115.post-843266050155339002011-12-21T21:29:17.178-05:002011-12-21T21:29:17.178-05:00Those words... those smells....

I walked into my moms house yesterday and 5 cakes were cooling. Happiness. Even though it was yesterday...thanks for the memories, Pamela.Nicki Salcedohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08019279966340560178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599090653164656115.post-34198866146644648092011-12-21T07:23:38.818-05:002011-12-21T07:23:38.818-05:00What a beautiful story! She was my aunt by marriage (my Dad's brother's wife), but she was one of my favorites. She was an awesome cook! She passed ten years ago, and I absolutely treasure that piece of paper! Whenever I make the pumpkin roll, I can feel her in the kitchen with me, and we have a little chat.Michele Stefanideshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15958281001797027041noreply@blogger.com
